How’s it going? Have you been “four-eighting” things about yourself this week? I want to encourage you to continue keeping up with your homework! I’m so very proud of you for getting this far!!
For the next two days, we will be reading in the book of Ephesians. I want to share a favorite portion of Scripture from chapter 3 with you.
… that you being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now unto him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory … amen. Ephesians 3:17-21
What I want you to take note of is that when we are rooted and grounded in Christ, we are surrounded by Him and His love on all sides. It is as though we are in the middle of a giant cube (breadth, length, height, depth) of His love. We are covered on all sides, on the top, and on the bottom. Now that is extravagant love, sisters! Rest in it!
Have a wonderful time in His Word!

[sorry for not posting before now- but am out of town and have very limited wifi access] But the Colossians exercise of going through the Scriptures with particular emphasis in mind has been very revealing. SO POSITIVE! To recognize Jesus as Creator – to acknowledge that He chooses me, redeems and reconciles me to the Father, has authority to lead and teach me, to teach and transform me into His will for His glory – WOW! I especially like that Christ is “full assurance”!
(just now have been able to get Homework days 4-5 – so off to study some more!)
Love your thoughts on this, Donna! We can rest in the fact that Christ is “full assurance,” can’t we!!!
