This week we will journey through a portion of Proverbs 3 together. Each day we will look at a different verse as we take delight in our wonderful Savior. Thank you for joining me each morning for this brief devotional prayer I like to call – Daily Delight.
Praise God for Who He Is …
Father, You are all-wise and all-knowing. The wealth of knowledge that You possess is unfathomable! I am blessed to worship such a great and mighty God!
Engage in the Word …
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and fur away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. – Proverbs 3:7-8
Accept What God Has for You Today …
Because of Your wisdom, You know what is very best for me and I choose to accept Your ways today. Remind me of this promise when I am tempted to grumble or complain about my day. Help me rest in the knowledge of Your authority over my day.
Confess Your Need for Jesus …
I need You today! I have a massive to-do list. I know I will forget something if You don’t intervene, Lord. Please help me not only accomplish my tasks today, but be alert to the ministry opportunities that come my way.
Enjoy the Peace of Jesus’ Presence!
Joy and delight come from being in Your presence and in Your perfect will. Thank You for the gift of You presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
