He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. – Psalm 23:2
My Shepherd, how I love You. How I long to lie down in the green pastures of rest that reside in Your presence. I am grateful for the lush green pastures of Your Word that You’ve given me to feed on, as well. I look forward to sitting beside the quiet, still waters of peace with You as my days are long and fraught with turmoil, grief, fear, and anxiety. Thank You for providing these times of rest for me. I confess that I don’t live in the green pastures and still waters of Your presence, but rather detour myself to fields filled with fear, stress, and the troubles of this world. Forgive me for this blatant resign to Your presence. Help me stay with You throughout my day and take great delight in where You lead me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Have a joy-filled day in Jesus’ presence.
