Thursday’s Delight

It’s Your day, Lord. I am waiting in Your presence for Your instruction.

Wait for the Lord;
 be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14

My heart and spirit are open to Your voice. I am listening.

There are times when I do not wait for You. I jump ahead and do my own thing. I am sorry for this lack of respect for the authority You have over my life.

You are Almighty God. You are strong and courageous. Your timing it perfect because You are in authority over all things.

I surrender my to-do list, my fears, and my troubles to You today. Take them and work for Your glory.

Thank You for always doing what You say You will do. Thank You for never forgetting me or taking Your eye off of me. You are the ultimate care-taker!
