God You are a helper, the One who satisfies every fiber of my being. You are strong and powerful, yet You offer love, joy, and peace!

Engage in the Word …

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips, when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me. – Psalm 63:5-8

Accept What God Has for You Today …

I choose to be satisfied with You and You alone today, Lord. There are things that I desire in this world, but none compare to You and none satisfy me the way You do. Rather than getting stressed today, I will rest in the shadow of Your wings and sing as I cling to You.

Confess Your Need for Jesus …

Remind me when I stop singing and clinging to You and forgive me when I let something other than You satisfy my soul. I think I can do things on my own, but when I do I am often frustrated and miserable. Forgive me when I don’t ask You for help. I know this is not Your way. Help me, Lord Jesus.

Enjoy the Peace of Jesus’ Presence!

You are what I want today, Jesus. Help me enjoy Your presence as we journey through this day together.
