All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. – John 1:3
Lord Jesus, nothing exists outside of Your creative hand and because all things were formed through You and by You, I have great peace. This day, in fact, was made through You and by the power of Your Spirit. Therefore, You are well acquainted with every moment of this day, and this knowledge helps me rest secure in Your strong and capable hands. We live in a world filled with destruction, but You put things together and hold things together. You are great and greatly to be praise! Thank You for Your still small voice that nudges my heart throughout my day. I am grateful that I am sensitive to Your spirit. Please increase my sensitivity, Lord. Cause me to hear Your voice above the noise that often surrounds me as I follow Your lead today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
