Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Joy comes from You, God! I am grateful for the joy that comes from my salvation in Jesus Christ. Without You, Jesus, there is no joy. Because of You I have reason to be thankful at all times because You are sovereign and in control of all things. Even in the difficult things there is reason to be thankful. You grow me and keep me closer to You in the midst of my sufferings. I love being in Your presence — there is fullness of joy there! Thank You, Jesus! Amen.
