Hey,
I am excited! I listened to the podcast. I often have tried my own anchors to only be discouraged. Finances, job and education. They are nice but they do not fix my health, and take care of my son. I did what I thought was right in my own eyes and have failed. When i put my faith in God I have seen things happen. For example, God put my marriage back together. Regardless of my mistakes God put us back together. Things are not perfect but we are growing together. We love each other very much. Prayer and learning to put God first, to trust Him in everything we do (I do). Thanks for sharing.
Oh one other thing that happened yesterday. It was not a coincidence. I went out with friends who have been my roommates the last couple of retreats. One had a birthday and one is moving away. I was talking to one of them afterwards and she said that you do not have to be perfect for God to use you or to be a leader. Last night one of my devotions said the same thing. I am praying. Discipleship starts and online biblestudy. I will be going to 36 hours a week at work. Not worth overtime. God is my source not my job. Pray for me. I will be joining y’all soon.
So glad you’re joining us, Debra Ann! I love how God is showing you to trust Him!
