And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory. HE IS full of grace and truth. HE IS the Word, the first cause, the Savior made flesh, the breath of God, down from heaven for you and me. HE CAME for you and me. And WE”VE SEEN His glory. Each and every time we glimpse His presence through a whispered prayer or the utterance of His Holy word. We glimpse His glory every time we take time to praise Him as He inhabits the praises of His people. We glimpse His glory as we think on Him, and commune with Him, and feast on Him. HE IS … the Word … God in flesh … glory.
Glory to God in the highest. Glory to God for the gift of His Son, Jesus. Glory to God for the gift of His presence, the gift of His Word, the Gift of salvation and forgiveness. Glory to God … in the name of our glorious Jesus, amen.
Delighting in His glory …
