God as … Creator
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible
and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things
were created through him and for him. Colossians 1:16
God, You are … Creator! Everything
that is in existence is from Your hand. You spoke and the world came to be. You
created every living thing, and by Your power and might all things are held
together. Everything was created for Your pleasure and glory.
Today’s Prayer … God, I praise You as Creator
today! You created all things for Your
pleasure, and You desire to use all things (including me) for Your glory. Help
me bring You glory every day and in every situation (even the hard situations
in my life). As I remember that my purpose is to bring You joy and pleasure,
allow me to experience joy in Your presence as I seek to glorify You. Amen.
